This is a private house in Lisbon. Lisbon has a great climate – it rarely drops below 0 degrees – and this allows for many exotic species with tropical origin. The garden is located on a north facade, so there is practically no direct sunlight. Located not far from Serra de Sintra, a misty mountain right next to the Atlantic, full of historical gardens, the choice of plants was inspired by it’s natural beauty, where a few plants also was gathered. There are many posts from Sintra on the blog, for example this.
