At Wayqecha there is a canopy walk that opened in 2009. It’s a great way to get closer some of the epiphytes, and it gives an interesting perspective to life in the tree tops. Branches here are covered in mosses and lichens that catch the moisture raising from the Amazon, and from here it start the voyage back to the lowland. There are many orchids growing in this moisture trapping environment, but also other epiphytes, like these colorful bromeliads.
